Public Works Department

The City of Public Works Department is made up of many smaller departments. 

Public Works is responsible for streets, alleys, city drives, and parking lots.  It maintains all of the Stormwater systems and maintains Stormwater Quality.  Public Works maintains all City and Grove Municipal Services Authority vehicles and equipment.

Public Works is responsible for maintenance and repairs to utilities including water, waste water and natural gas.

The City of Grove is the largest community around Grand Lake O'Cherokees making it a great place to work, live and play. 

Grove is the prime location for new development including residential, retail and manufacturing.  The  Community Development Team strives to make your experience as a contractor, business owner, homeowner or visitor to Grove a pleasant one.

 

Planning and Zoning Commission

The Planning and Zoning Committee meets the second Tuesday of each month at 3:00 PM in Room Five (5) Of The Grove Community Center, 104 West Third Street, Grove, OK 74344.

Special Meetings of the Planning and Zoning Board will be called from time to time, as needed. The date and location will be posted in accordance to the Oklahoma Meeting & Open Records Title 25, § 311 (A)(11).

In accordance to the Planning & Zoning Commission By-Laws, should the meeting date occur on a Holiday, then the Board will meet the following Wednesday at 3:00 PM.

City of Grove Emergency Management

The City of Grove Emergency Management works diligently to protect and notify our residents and visitors during an emergency or disaster situation.

To assist Emergency Personnel in finding you and your family following a disaster, Register your Storm Shelter or Safe Room.  You may complete the on-line application in the right-hand column of this page or contact Russ Schmidt, E911 Coordinator at City Hall, 104 W. 3rd Street or 918-786-6107 to register your Safe Room or Storm Shelter.

Municipal Court

Municipal Court is held in the Council Chambers, 1201 NEO Loop Grove, OK on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m.  Be sure to check the Municipal Court Calendar to determine if Court is closed due to a holiday or other circumstances.

The Court's Office is responsible for:

  • Preparing court dockets;
  • Maintaining citation and warrant records;
  • Accepting fine and bond payments;
