Am I allowed to use my property as a Vacation Rental Home in the City of Grove?
Yes, you may utilize your property as a Vacation Rental Home only under specific regulations including but not limited to:
- You will need to submit a Vacation Rental Home Application
Applications may be downloaded or completed on-line and submitted electronically.
Be sure to review the Vacation Rental Home Ordinance to learn more about the regulations.

Are Copies of City Records Open for Inspection?
City records are open for inspection unless specifically exempt from disclosure by the Open Records Act or other laws. All requests for record inspection will be reviewed by the record custodian prior to release of any information.
The State authorized fee is .25 cents per page (8.5 x 11) uncertified. If requesting a certified copy, a certification fee of $1.00 per page, in addition to the cost of the copy will apply.
If the record is requested for commercial use, a charge for the actual costs incurred in honoring your request is also authorized by state law.
Newspapers are exempt from search fees. A reasonable time is allowed by state law for the City to furnish the record requested. There are Request for Record Inspection and/or Copy available at City Hall.
As a homeowner can I do my own electrical, plumbing, mechanical or construction projects?
Some projects may be performed by a homeowner, it is a good idea to contact the Building Inspector at 918-786-6107 prior to commencing any prohects.
Can anyone post events on the Community Center & Civic Center Marquee?
Post your organizations meetings and fundraisers on the marquee at Grove City Hall and/or Civic Center. Contact Grove City Hall 918-786-6107 with information to be posted or feel free to drop off a flyer of your upcoming event at City Hall. You may also send requests to cityofgrove@sbcglobal.net
Can Domesticated Animals be Given Away on City Parking Lots?
Persons shall obtain a permit from the city of Grove to give away domesticated animals on any commercial parking lot or at any flea market or festival. Persons requesting the permit must provide written authorization from the property owner to give away animals on their property. There is no charge for the Animal Giveaway Permit. (Available at City Hall)
It shall be unlawful for any persons to sell, barter, trade or lease any animal on any commercial parking lot or at any flea market or festival.
It shall be unlawful for any person to display, give away, sell, barter, trade or lease any animal on any public right of way.
Exceptions: This section shall not apply to any nonprofit organization founded for the purpose of providing humane sanctuary or shelter for abandoned or unwanted animals.
Can I change my payment arrangement with GMSA?
You will need to come into the GMSA Office located inside City Hall to discuss this matter with a GMSA clerk.
Can I get a 911 address for an empty lot?
No.
Can I get a copy of my GMSA bill with my service address printed on it?
Yes! Feel free to stop by or come into our office and we will print one for you.
Can I get a Court appointed attorney?
Yes, but only upon appointment by the Municipal Judge.
Can I harvest high grass and weeds for hay?
Yes. Harvesting high grass and weeds is allowed with certain regulations, including Permit requirements. Click the link on this page to view the requirements for Hay Harvesting. Contact the City Clerk's Office at 1201 NEO Loop, Grove, OK, 918-786-6107 to obtain an application for a Hay Permit or you may submit an on-line application.
Can I hunt deer within the city limits of Grove?
Yes. Contact the Grove Police Department for more information. 918-786-6121.
Can I make payment arrangements to pay my fine and costs?
Only the Municipal Judge can approve payment arrangements. You must appear before the Judge to request a payment arrangement.
Can I purchase a 911 address sign from City Hall?
Yes. The sign is made of reflective material, and is 18" x 6" . The cost of the sign is $25.00
Can we make payment arrangements for utility bills?
Yes! They must be made in writing at the GMSA Office located at City Hall between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

City Council Meetings are held the 1st & 3rd Tues of each month at Grove City Hall, 1201 NEO Loop, Grove, OK. at 4:30 p.m.
Do Contractors have to be licensed to work on my project?
Yes. All Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Roofing contractors must be licensed by the State of Oklahoma and the City of Grove prior to commencing any work within Grove city limits..

Do I need a permit to construct or widen a Driveway?
Yes. A permit is required for the construction or widening of a driveway.

Do I need a permit to hold a Garage Sale?
Garage or Yard Sale Permits available at City Hall for $3.00 per event.
It shall be unlawful for any person to conduct a garage sale in the city without first obtaining a license to do so. Such license shall be issued to any one person or household at any one address only four (4) times within a twelve (12) month period and no such license shall be issued for more than four (4) consecutive calendar days. Please prominently display this license on the premises upon which the sale is conducted throughout the entire period of the licensed sale.
ALL CHURCHES AND NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS SHALL BE EXEMPT FROM PAYING ANY FEE FOR THE LICENSE REQUIRED

Yes we do! Please go to our website at www.cityofgroveok.gov on the right hand side of our main page you will see the first white link is on-line bill pay. You can register with PSN to set up monthly payments or make a one-time payment.

A night drop box is available for your convenience located in front of City Hall.
Does someone interested in becoming a volunteer firefighter need prior experience?
No. The Grove Fire Department along with OSU Fire Service Training provides all the training to interested candidates.
