Obituary: Lois (Benge) Bishop - Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK
MAY 19, 1947 ~ DECEMBER 12, 2011 (AGE 64)
Lois Bishop passed away at Southwest Regional Medical Center in Tulsa on Monday, December 12, 2011 at the age of sixty-four. She was born on May 19, 1947 in Grove, Oklahoma to W.H. and Neoma (Beamer) Benge. Lois Graduated from Grove High School with the Class of 1965. Mrs. Bishop married Raymond Bishop on March 1, 1968 at the First Baptist Church in Grove. Lois remains a member of the First Baptist Church; she is also a member of the ESA Sorority and the Tsa La Gi Heritage Club. Some of Her activities were gardening, sewing, bowling, helping with church activities and most of all doing things with her kids and grandkids whom she was very proud of. She is preceded in death by her parents W.H. and Neoma Benge and her husband Raymond L. Bishop who preceded her on February 9, 2010. Survivors include her children Mike Bishop of Grove, J.D. Bishop of Artesia, New Mexico and Tracy Goins and her husband Billy, her sister Wahleah Jordan of Jay and her grandchildren Jade Goins and Carson Goins. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. Funeral Services for Mrs. Bishop will be on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Grove's First Baptist Church with Reverend Joe Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Olympus Cemetery under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove. Casketbearers will be Mike Bishop, J.D. Bishop, Billy Goins, Carson Goins, Dave Jordan and Ross Roberts. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Grand Lake YMCA.

Obituary: Raymond L. Bishop - Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK
APRIL 5, 1946 ~ FEBRUARY 9, 2010 (AGE 63)
Raymond L. Bishop, 63, a long time resident of Grove passed away on February 9, 2010 at Integris Grove General Hospital. Mr. Bishop was born on April 5, 1946 in Jay, Oklahoma to James Jewell and Blanche (Stanton) Bishop. Raymond graduated from Jay High School with the class of 1964. He then joined the United States Army. On March 1, 1968 Mr. Bishop married Lois Benge at the First Baptist Church in Grove. Raymond worked for Public Service Company of Oklahoma as an Electrical Lineman for thirty-two years. He enjoyed working on his farm, being outside and working in his garden. At a younger age he spent his time fishing. After retiring in 2001, he enjoyed meeting with the PSO retired employees group. He also enjoyed being with his kids, grandkids. His father James J. Bishop and a brother Don Bishop precede him in death. Survivors include his wife of forty-one years Lois Bishop, his mother Blanche Bishop of Jay, two sons Mike Bishop of Grove, J. D. Bishop of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, one daughter Tracy Goins and her husband Bill of Grove, two grand children Jade and Carson Goins, his brothers Jake Bishop and his wife Evelyn, Tony Bishop and his wife Mickey, Ken Bishop and his wife Tracy all of Jay, John Bishop and his wife Bonnie of Eucha, two sisters Ann Spragins and her husband Gaylen of Byron, Georgia, Linda Beal and her husband Benny of Grove, along with a sister and brother in law Robert and Wahleah Jordon. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma. Funeral services for Mr. Bishop will be on Friday, February 12, 2010 at Grove's First Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Reverend James Wilder officiating. Interment will follow in the Olympus Cemetery under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove. Military honors will be provided by the Grove Veterans Ritual Team. Casketbearers will be Gary Bishop, Chris Beal, Randy Beal, J. R. Bishop, Dave Jordan and Kevin Bishop. Honorary Casketbearers will be the employees of PSO
