Burner, Rosalie Boisvert
OBITUARY: BURNER, ROSALIE B. - ELLIS FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, GROVE, OK
Rosalie Boisvert Burner, age 90, died on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Grove Nursing Center in Grove, Oklahoma. The daughter of Albert Maxim Boisvert and Loretta Margaret Martineau Boisvert, Rosalie was born on May 1, 1920 in Albany, New York. Rosalie was united in marriage to Robert Landis Burner on October 11, 1946. He preceded her in death on March 25, 1996. Rosalie was a member of the St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Grove, was a life member of the Alaska Congress of Parents and Teachers, she volunteered for Hospice and for D.O.C. Senior Nutrition Program. She worked as an accountant and as a partner in her husband's business in New York, Pennsylvania and Alaska. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by seven nieces and nephews and many very close and dear friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 9:00 a.m., on Friday, August 13, 2010 at the St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church with Father Alex Kennedy officiating. Inurnment will immediately follow at the Buzzard Cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma. Memorial donations can be made in Rosalie's name to the St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Grove, Oklahoma. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ellis Family Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Friends and family may leave online condolences by viewing Rosalie's obituary at www.ellisfuneralhome.com.
