Obituary: Lila M. Ferguson - The Grove Sun - Published January 20, 2007
LILA M. FERGUSON 1919-2007 GROVE, Okla. - Lila M. Ferguson died January 20, at Integris Grove General Hospital at the age of 87. She was born August 29, 1919 to Glen and Matilda (Wardon) Kinney in Southwest Missouri. She married Walter Harry Ferguson in February 5, 1939. Her husband, daughter Nancy Barker, one grandson, one great- grandson, parents and five brothers preceded her in death. She is survived by: three children, Sue Myers and husband Dave of Cheyenne, Wyo., Roger Ferguson and wife Judy of Noble, Okla. and Sue Gibe and husband Mike of Jay, Okla.; seven grandchildren; four great- grandchildren and one great great-grandson; and one sister Eva Cohu of Monett, Mo. Graveside services were held Tuesday, January 23, at 10 a.m. at the Buzzard Cemetery in Grove. Doug Rainbolt, minister, officiated. Arrangements were by Turner Funeral Chapel of Jay.
