OBITUARY: HULSEY, CLEO L. (RUSSELL) - LUGINBUEL FUNERAL HOME, GROVE, OK

Cleo L. Hulsey passed away at the Grove Nursing Center on November 27, 2007, at the age of 95 years and four days. She was born in Oaks, OK to Joseph A and Grace (Perry) Russell on November 23, 1912. She attended schools at Tuskhoma Grove and graduated from Haskell Indian School in 1934. United in marriage to James "Odell" Hulsey on March 28, 1935 making their home in Grove. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and granny. Cleo was a life long member of the First Christian Church, member of the American Legion Auxillary unit 178 for 65 years. Mrs. Hulsey was preceded in death by her husband Odell Hulsey, a sister Dorothy Trebbe and her parents Joseph and Grace Russell, an aunt Lula Perry who helped raise her and her sister. Cleo is survived by her son Bob Hulsey, and his wife Alberta, a daughter Beverly Harding and her husband Leroy, grandchildren Dawn Brewer, and her husband Randle, Julie Bloss and her husband Tracy and Bobby Hulsey. Great-grandchildren, Lea Brewer, Charlie Brewer and Tyler Bloss all of Grove. In Lieu of flowers the family has ask that donations be made to the Ladies Missionary Group at the First Christian Church or to the Girls State Scholarship fund for unit 178, these can be made in care of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, 711 South Main, Grove, OK 74344. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel, Grove. Burial will follow at Buzzard Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday. Friends may leave online condolences at www.honoringmemories.com.
