Obituary: Calvin Wade McMahan - Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Homes, Grove, OK

JULY 22, 1957 ~ NOVEMBER 16, 2009 (AGE 52)

Calvin McMahan, 52, a resident of Grove passed away on Monday November 16, 2009 at his home. Calvin was born in Grove to Harold McMahan and Nelda Ruth (Riggs) Hardy. He worked different jobs driving truck and delivering. He had moved back to the Grove area about fourteen years ago to enjoy one of his hobbies of fishing. Calvin also enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles, wood working and Old time rock and roll. Mr. McMahan was preceded in death by his mother Nelda Hardy and a brother Carl McMahan. Survivors include his wife of the home Teresa Wood, his children Teddy Ross, of Claremore, Brandy McCormick of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Cassandra Arnold of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Melinda McMahan of Grove, and Pamela McMahan also of Grove. His father Harold McMahan of Blanco, Oklahoma, Grandchildren Kirbi Ross of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Shawn Ross of Claremore, Oklahoma his siblings Patty Brown of Tulsa, William McMahan of Anderson, Missouri, Michael McMahan of Blanco, and Jeanie Denny of McAllister, Oklahoma. Many aunts' uncles, cousins also survive. Visitation for Calvin will be from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove on Wednesday, November, 18, 2009. Graveside services for Mr. McMahan will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the Buzzard cemetery in Grove with Dr. Wayne Shaw Senior Pastor of First Christian Church officiating. Services are under the care of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.
