Lizard (Gecko)

LIZARD (GECKO) -  Gecko in Latin,  means fortune, re-growth and overall life.  There are also symbolic representations of the loss and the quick regeneration of the gecko’s tail.  Lizards are also a symbol of transformation and regeneration.  Some Native American traditions also called on Brother Lizard as a sign of protection and self conservation. The lizard is one of many Native American totem animals and is often referred to as Brother Lizard.  Brother Lizard represents dreams and one's connection with the dream world.   

Order of Saint John

ORDER OF KNIGHTS OF THE HOSPITAL OF SAINT JOHN OF JERUSALEM (ORDER OF SAINT JOHN) -  The Order of Knights of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem, also known as the Order of Saint John, Order of Hospitallers, Knights Hospitaller, or Hospitallers, was the name of the medieval Catholic military order that preceded the contemporary Sovereign Military Order of Malta, which remains a sovereign subject of international law.   It was headquartered variously in the Kingdom of Jerusalem, Rhodes and Malta, until it became known by its current name.

Heroines of Jericho

HEROINES OF JERICHO -  The Heroines of Jericho is an androgynous degree conferred in America on Royal Arch Masons, their wives, mothers, widows, sisters and daughters.  Historically awarded to the female family members of the Royal Arch Masons, the Heroines of Jericho enabled women to apply for protection, security and subsistence while living in a patriarchal and misogynistic society.

DAUGHTERS OF AMERICA -  The Daughters of America is an American secret society, Nativist organization dating from the late-19th century.  It was founded in 1891 as an auxiliary of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics (JOUAM).
