Hummingbird

HUMMINGBIRD - The hummingbird is known as a messenger of love, joy and beauty.  It is not commonly known that the fluttering wings of the hummingbird move in the pattern of an infinity symbol - further solidifying the symbolism of eternity, continuity, and infinity.  When the hummingbird hovers over flowers while drinking the nectar, it symbolizes that we should savor each moment and appreciate the things we love.  The prime message of the hummingbird animal totem is "The sweetest nectar is within!"
