ROAD CLOSURE

City crews will be closing 13th street from Leisure to Broadway on Monday June 3rd. The street will reopen Tuesday evening pending weather. Residents that use Goldfinch, Red Bird, Wood, and Hummingbird streets will need to use Leisure as an alternative route. The city of Grove apologizes for the inconvenience. SUMMARY:  UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE UTILITY SUPERINTENDENT, THE WATER & SEWER MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEE PERFORMS RESPONSIBLE DUTIES BY MAINTAINING A SAFE AND WORKING SYSTEM WITH GENERAL MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP AND MAINTAINING ALL REQUIRED PAPERWORK.

REQUIREMENTS: APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT; MUST HAVE VALID CLASS D DRIVERS LICENSE. MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE.

DUTIES: UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT, THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR completing GMSA SERVICE ORDERS, CHECKING FOR LEAKS, FLUSHING HYDRANTS, READING METERS, SERVING AS BACK UP FOR THE AMR TECHNICIAN AND ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
