BOARDS/COMMISSION ON-LINE APPLICATION

Anyone interested in serving on a City of Grove Subsidiary Board or Trust must complete and submit a one page application to the City Clerk. Members of City of Grove Subsidiary Boards and Trusts are appointed by the Mayor with the consensus of the Council.

The City of Grove is committed to selecting the best qualified applicant to serve on its Subsidiary Boards and Trust. The City of Grove will strive to provide the following:

NOTIFICATION: Provide adequate notification to the general public when vacancies occur on boards/trusts. The notice will provide the deadline for application submittal.

EDUCATION: Educate and inform the public on the purpose of each board/trust, the number of members, length of terms, general responsibilities, hours required per month to be an active member.

SELECTION: Broaden representation of city boards/trusts by diversity in professions, experience and skills while striving for an equitable mix of professionals and laypersons serving on the boards/trust.
