Jim served as a law professor and head of a major university. His legal background and experience allows him to better understand the laws of dealing with public funds, plus the open record and open meeting acts.
Jim is active in his community and serves on several local Board of Directors including:
- Lendonwood Garden with a tenure of 15 years;
- Har-Ber Village Board of Directors for 8 years;
- Integris Grove Foundation Board - 6 years;
- Grand Lake Watershed Alliance Board - 6 years;
- Grove Rotary Club Board - 3 years

Ileta is a representative of the Patricia Island Country Club, a local Real Estate Agent and very active in the Grove community.
Her desire as a member of the CTB is to effectively market Grove businesses and venues, increase tourism numbers in the area. Ileta is a team player and will collaborate and coordinate with other tourism businesses and venue in marketing Grove to maximize efficient uses of the lodging tax that is collected by local hotels.

Convention and Tourism is not anything new to Brad, he has over 20 years of experience serving on boards and committees that were responsible for marketing and promoting tourism.
