Attend the Safety Facilities Public Meeting on October 5

A Public Meeting to discuss the Financial Options available to fund a new Police Station and new Fire Station.

The meeting will be held Thursday, October 5 at 7 p.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church located at the corner of 4th and Main, Grove, OK.

Be sure to complete the Public Safety Facilities SURVEY prior to the meeting.

CARDS provides Trash Truck demonstration to local children

Justin Hatfield and Paul Fickbaum, CARDS employees, spent some time with the kiddos of Grove.  They demonstrated some front load dumpster and rear load dumpster trash action.  This was a great community service and both Justin and Paul were happy to do it and represented CARDS well. 

Bids for NEO Building Remodel for new City Hall and GMSA offices were Rejected by Mayor and Council

The following responsible bids were received::

Construction Services Group, Marion Company, LLC
Base Bid $469,996
Add Alternate - Windows $9,868

MacCo Builders
Base Bid $514,000
Add Alternate - Windows $19,000

At their November 7, 2023, the Grove Mayor and City Council voted 3-0 to Reject All Bids.

GMSA Customers Billing Error Notice

Attention GMSA customers: if your account number begins with 3, your September 20th bill will reflect a due date of September 5th. That is an error; the correct due date is October 5th. The service dates are accurate, the bill date says 08/20/2023 and should say 09/20/2023. The bills were created before the error was noticed and could not be corrected for printing. We apologize for the error, please call GMSA at 918-786-5171 if you have questions. Account numbers that begin with 3 always have a due date of the 5th.

Dog Park

The City of Grove Dog Park is located at 100 S. Broadway on the backside of Grove Springs Park.

There is a 7,020 sq. ft. area for smaller dogs; and a 33,800 sq. ft. area for larger dogs.

City officials would like to thank the residents who took time to attend the Public Meetings, and  VOTE on the Special Election September 12.  Exercising your right to VOTE is a privilege and a great opportunity for residents to voice their concerns and thoughts regarding the election subject matter.  City officials take your concerns, thoughts, and ideas very serious.
