Vacation Rental Homes are permitted in the City of Grove.  Be sure to read the Ordinance below to determine the process required prior to utilizing your property as a Vacation Rental Home.

You may download applications, complete and submit to the City of Grove at 104 W. 3rd Street or you may complete an On-Line application and submit it electronically.  Applications are listed in the left-hand column of this page.

There is NO CHARGE to advertise LOCAL events on the City of Grove Marquee(s) which are located at the Grove Community Center and the Grove Civic Center.  Events should be scheduled as far in advance as possible to allow more time for the slides (or video) to be produced.

CHECK WITH CITY HALL TO DETERMINE IF A SIGN PERMIT IS REQUIRED!

The City of Grove is accepting applications for a full-time Communications Officer. Applicants must be able to work 9 p.m. - 7 a.m. and weekends. Responsible for answering 911 Emergency calls, dispatching emergency personnel as needed, operating the radio base station, Teletype, telephone; computers and monitoring various alarm systems. Applicants must be able to work in an emergency and stressful environment. Selected applicant must pass mandatory drug and alcohol testing.  Full-Time Annual Salary: $24,504.00; plus benefits.
