Planning and Zoning Board Members
The Planning and Zoning Commission has five members. Each member is appointed by the Mayor and Council and serves a three year term.

Ileta is a representative of the Patricia Island Golf Course and is a Certified Golf Instructor. She has worked several years with the YMCA providing summer golf program Starting New at Golf (SNAG). She also coaches the Grove Ridgerunners Boys and Girls Mid and High School Golf Teams.
Her desire as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission is to assist new businesses with meeting the requirements established by the Zoning Ordinances. Ileta is a team player and will collaborate and coordinate with other members in making sure Zoning Ordinances are amended as needed to make sure Grove is developed in the best possible manner.
Ileta is active in her community. She is a past City Council member, has served as the Chairman for the Patricia Island Lady Member Ambassadors for nine years.

With her background, Peggy has professional experience and understands the community.

Josh was appointed the the P & Z Commission in October 2021. Grove is his hometown, after college he returned home, and has a desire to be a part of developing his community to its highest potential.
Josh is a property manager and his experience makes him a valuable asset to the P & Z Commission.
Josh serves in a variety of leadership roles, and he has a desire to lead Grove in the right direction.

Bud was appointed to the P & Z Commission on July 2, 2024. His appointment is to fulfill an unexpired term through October 31, 2025.
Bud brings 40 years of finance and administration experience to the P & Z Commission. In addition, he has 20 years experience working on large civic projects in both Kansas City and Denver. He has worked with city and state officials, plus he has experience with public works and planning and zoning.
Bud has an interest in the development and progress of the City of Grove including commercial and residential development, plus the growth as a tourist destination.
Bud has been a resident of Grove since 2021.
