City awarded a $10,000 grant for HHW & E-Waste Disposal one-day collection event
The City of Grove was awarded a REAP grant in the amount of $10,000 to go towards the cost of holding a one-day Hazardous Household Waste and Electronic Waste collection event.
Request for Proposals from qualified contractors will be accepted until March 1, 2017 at 9 a.m. The one-day event will be scheduled for a Saturday before or after the City Wide Clean-up (3rd week of April 2017) depending on the selected contractor's schedule. A Waste Tire Disposal collection will also be held on the same day. The collection events will be held at the Waste Water Treatment Facility located on North Cherokee.
