Representatives of Bank of Grand Lake and Crossland Construction join Grove City Council, Grove Economic Development Authority, Grove City Attorney and Grove City Manager in announcing the construction of a New Event Center at Wolf Creek Park.
The City of Grove is pleased to officially announce the construction of a $5.8 million state-of-the-art event center at Wolf Creek Park. This highly anticipated facility will serve as a premier venue for a variety of community events, conventions, and entertainment, enhancing the city's reputation as a destination. The 51,000 sq. ft. event center, strategically located at Wolf Creek Park, will provide a modern and versatile space designed to accommodate local events, large gatherings, sporting events, fishing tournaments, concerts, business conferences and more. Construction of the event center is part of the city's long-term vision to foster economic growth, boost tourism, and create new opportunities for residents and visitors alike. The realization of this project was made possible through the collaboration and dedication of key community leaders. The City of Grove extends its sincere appreciation to Ed Townsend, Bank of Grand Lake, for providing affordable financing options with a level of flexibility that enabled this project to move forward. His commitment to the community and support for local development has played a crucial role in making the event center a reality. Additionally, the City of Grove expresses its gratitude to Ivan Crossland, Crossland Construction, for his invaluable expert advice on cost-saving measures, making this project possible. His extensive knowledge and dedication to the betterment of Grove have significantly contributed to bringing this vision to life. "We are thrilled to move forward with this exciting development, which will have a lasting impact on our community," said Debbie Bottoroff, City Manager. "The event center will not only bring new business and entertainment to Grove but will also strengthen our local economy by attracting visitors and supporting local businesses." Construction is scheduled to begin in May 2025, with completion in the Fall of 2025, pending no bad weather or unforeseen situations.
