Grove Public School - Dozier, Troppman recognized at GMSA Meeting
Renea Dozier and Debi Troppman were recognized by the Oklahoma Rural Water Association.(ORWA) at the Grove Municipal Services Authority meeting on July 20, 2021.
Steve Wheeler, ORWA Field Operations Manager, expressed appreciation for the two ladies for going above and beyond to provide a testing facility to allow students to take their certification test for water and wastewater operators.
Due to mis-communication, Dozier and Troppman were caught off-guard when 30 plus individuals showed up expecting to use the GPS testing facility. There was no testing facility available, and many of those testing had drove for 5 or more hours to take the test. The two ladies went to work on setting up computers and a site for the testing. Wheeler stated, "the efforts of these ladies to go above and beyond allowed OWRA to be able to satisfy the immense need for certified water and wasterwater operators in Oklahoma, benefiting the entire state of Oklahoma.
