Jana Jae Fiddle Festival Contest/Music at Wolf Creek Park

The fun starts on Thursday, June 9 at Snider's Camp – on Grand Lake just south of Honey Creek Bridge - with music, fun and great food. It transitions to Wolf Creek Park on Friday, June 10th with the Grand Lake National Fiddle Fest - a top-notch Fiddle Contest and music and dancing way into the evening. It's going to be a great time at the Lake -- so make plans to be here.
Bob Novak and the Fabulous Backroad Drifters will be performing on Thursday night at Snider's Camp. Playing bluegrass, country, and 50's-60's Rock n Roll, it'll be a delightful show you don't want to miss. Also performing is the Lucy Weberling Group called “I’m not Lisa” featuring 3 gals from Osage County and their pickin buddies who play eclectic oldtimefolkabillycountryrockgrass!! Sound interesting???? Jana Jae and Friends including the Coleman Sister will open the evening’s activities!! All of this and it is FREE TO ATTEND! Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs and your appetite for some delicious Tiki Kava food and drinks!!!
The Grand Lake National Fiddle Contests will begin at 9 am on Fri., June 10 with 4 divisions for all ages including the Open Division competing for $1000. Contests, jamming, Food Trucks, Vendor Booths and great entertainment throughout the day. Featured bands are: Cliff Top, with an eclectic mix of music influences including Bluegrass, traditional country, classical & folk. The award winning Possum Trot Band delivers their brand of dynamic bluegrass to audiences with their trademark sound, entertaining and captivating new and old fans alike. Jana & World Champion Barry “Bones” Patton plus vocalist Clint Walker will be featured at intervals throughout the day. Junior Marriott and his Western Swing Band will close the Friday evening at Wolf Creek with great music, fun and dancing.
