Orizon Aerostructures selects Grove to expand; adding new Quality Jobs

                             FOR THE SITE TO EXPAND OPERATIONS AND CREATE NEW JOBS

At a Special City Council meeting, Charlie Newell, Orizon Aerostructures CEO, announced Grove, Oklahoma was selected over other communities to expand their operations.  Orizon is a Kansas City, Missouri, commercial, military/defense and general aviation manufacturing company that purchased Precision Aero Group.  The expansion will create a minimum of 60 quality jobs with hourly wages ranging from $17 to $20, plus benefits.

Newell announced Orizon is making a $45 million investment in Grove by expanding the existing 140,000 sq. ft. building by adding 80,000 square feet, and purchasing and installing six Ecospeed machines.  The Ecospeed machines manufactures parts for the F-35, Honda commercial plains as well as general aviation parts.  "This is something no one else in the United States has" Newell stated, "Parts being made right here in Grove, Oklahoma."

There is currently one Ecospeed machine located in their existing facility, the first of six new Ecospeed machine will be installed in March 2017 and operational within thirty days.  One additional machine will be installed every other month, until all six are inplace.

Newell praised the work ethic and mechanical aptitude of Orizon's current Grove employees.   He also commented on the benefits of located in a rural area, he commended the Mayor and Council for opening their meeting with a prayer and Pledge of Allegiance, "You don't see that in Kansas City., he added.
