Taste of Grand September 22

Each fall in Grove, the area's best food and wine is offered during the year's most appetizing event, the Taste of Grand.  A fundraiser for the INTEGRIS Grove Hospital Foundation, the evening showcases the talents of local restaurants and vintners, who offer their finest dishes and drinks for sampling.  The fun doesn't stop when dinner is over, Taste of Grand also features entertainment from live bands, whose repertoire includes a diverse variety of musical hits.  All proceeds from Taste of Grand benefit INTEGRIS Foundation.  A non-profit organization which improves the health of the people and communities it serves. 

Cancer Fund:  Thousands of dollars are donated to local citizens each year who are battling cancer.  Funds are used to help with medical expenses, fuel for travel to treatment, nutritional supplements, medical supplies and other essential expenses.

Patients in Need Fund:  Thousands of dollars are distributed to people who could not afford to purchase necessary medications, medical equipment or other critical medical related needs.  Funding is based on financial need and is available to patients of INTEGRIS Grove, or any physician or staff member.

Townsend Children's Fund:  Through a generous gift from Ed and Barbara Townsend, this fund provides medical and dental care for needy children in Delaware County.

AED Fund:  The foundation spends thousands of dollars purchasing automatic defibrillators for area schools and senior centers.  One of the AEDs purchased was used to save the life of a person during a community event.

Community Support: The foundation also funds other local health needs from purchasing life changing medical equipment for hospital patients, to  donating to the Christian Medical Clinic for diabetes testing supplies for low income patients.
