Apple

APPLE -  Symbolic of knowledge and found often on the gravestones of educators.   Though the forbidden fruit in the Book of Genesis is not identified, popular tradition holds that Adam and Eve ate an apple from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden.  This may have been the result of Renaissance painters adding elements of Greek mythology into biblical scenes.   The unnamed fruit of Eden thus became an apple under the influence of the story of the golden apples in the Garden of Hesperides.

HELLS ANGELS MOTORCYCLE CLUB (HAMC) -  The Hells Angels were started on March 17, 1948, by the Bishop family, American war immigrants in Fontana, California.   The Hells Angels' website denies the suggestion that any misfit or malcontent troops are connected with the motorcycle club. The website also notes that the name was suggested by Arvid Olsen, an associate of the founders, who had served in the Flying Tigers' "Hell's Angels" squadron in China during World War II.
