SONS & DAUGHTERS OF LIBERTY -  They were the ones who were not afraid.  They knew instinctively that talk and politics alone would not bring an end to British tyranny.   They were willing to resort to extralegal means if necessary to end this series of injustices.  They were American patriots — northern and southern, young and old, male and female.  They were the Sons and Daughters of Liberty.

Pythian Sunshine Girls

PYTHIAN SUNSHINE GIRLS -  The Sunshine Girls have been in existence since 1930 and is a junior order of the Pythian Sisters.  The purpose of the Sunshine Girls is to lay a foundation of purity, service and usefulness in all things that help to make the lives of those around us happier and the world a better place to live in.

PHARMACIST - Pharmacists, also known as chemists (Commonwealth English) or druggists (North American and, archaically, Commonwealth English), are healthcare professionals who practice in pharmacy, the field of health sciences focusing on safe and effective medication use.   A pharmacist is a member of the health care team directly involved with patientcare.   Pharmacists undergo university-level education to understand the biochemical mechanisms and actions of drugs, drug uses, therapeutic roles, side effects, potential drug interactions, and monitoring parameters.

Rings, Olympic

OLYMPIC RINGS -  The rings are five interlocking rings, colored blue, yellow, black, green and red on a white field, known as the "Olympic rings".  The rings represent five world continents, Africa, Asia, America, Europe and Australia.  The symbol was originally designed in 1912 by Baron Pierre de Coubertin, co-founder of the modern Olympic Games.  According to Coubertin, the colors of the rings together with the white of the background included the colors composing every competing nation's flag at the time.

Luther Rose

LUTHER ROSE - The Luther seal or Luther rose is a widely recognized symbol for Lutheranism.  It was the seal that was designed for Martin Luther at the behest of John Frederick of Saxony in 1530, while Luther was staying at the Coburg Fortress during the Diet of Augsburg.   Lazarus Spengler, to whom Luther wrote his interpretation below, sent Luther a drawing of this seal.   Luther saw it as a compendium or expression of his theology and faith, which he used to authorize his correspondence.

LIONS CLUB - Lions Clubs International (LCI) is an international secular, non-political service organization founded by Melvin Jonesin 1917.   As of April 2015 it had over 46,000 local clubs and more than 1.4 million members in over 200 countries around the world.  Headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois, the organization aims to meet the needs of communities on a local and global scale.

Kiwanis

KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL -  Kiwanis International is an international, co-educational service club founded in 1915 in Detroit, Michigan.   It is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States and is found in more than 80 nations and geographic areas.  Membership in Kiwanis and its family of clubs is more than 600,000 members strong.   Each year, Kiwanis clubs raise more than $100 million and report more than 18.5 million volunteer hours to strengthen communities and serve children.

UNITED STATES JUNIOR CHAMBER (JAYCEES) -  The United States Junior Chamber (JCs or more commonly Jaycees) is a leadership training and civic organization for people between the ages of 18 and 40.   Areas of emphasis are business development, management skills, individual training, community service, and international connections.   The U.S. Junior Chamber is a not-for-profit organization as described under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(4).

Frog
