Virgin Mary (Mother of Christ Jesus)

VIRGIN MARY (MOTHER OF CHRIST JESUS) - Found on the gravestones of individuals of the Catholic faith.  She is the mother of Jesus; Christians refer to her as the Virgin Mary, Blessed Virgin and Madonna; she is especially honored by Roman Catholics.  

At the announcement that she would give birth to 'the Son of the Most High' without knowing man, by the power of the Holy Spirit, Mary responded with the obedience of faith, certain that 'with God nothing will be impossible.

Saint Padre Pio

SAINT PADRE PIO -  Padre Pio, also known as Saint Pio of Pietrelcina  (May 25, 1887 – September 23, 1968), was a friar, priest, stigmatist, and mystic, now venerated as a saint of the Catholic Church.   Born Francesco Forgione, he was given the name of Pius (Italian: Pio) when he joined the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin.

Man, Winged (Saint Matthew)

WINGED MAN (SAINT MATTHEW) -  Matthew the Evangelist, the author of the first gospel account, is symbolized by a winged man, or angel.   Matthew's gospel starts with Joseph's genealogy from Abraham; it represents Jesus' Incarnation, and so Christ's human nature.  This signifies that Christians should use their reason for salvation.

Future Farmers of America (FFA)

FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA (FFA) - The National FFA Organization is an American youth organization, specifically a career and technical student organization, based on middle and high school classes that promote and support agricultural education.   It was founded in 1925 at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, by agriculture teachers, Henry C. Groseclose, Walter Newman, Edmund Magilland and Harry Sanders as Future Farmers of Virginia.
