CONFEDERATE STATES NAVY (C. S. N.) -  The Navy of the Confederate States (CSN) was the naval branch of the Confederate States armed forces, established by an act of the Confederate Congress on February 21, 1861. It was responsible for Confederate naval operations during the American Civil War, fighting against the U.S. Navy.  The French quote "aide-toi et le Ciel t'aidera" translates "God helps those who help themselves."

WORLD SCOUTS (FLEUR-DE-LIS CIRCLED BY KNOTTED ROPE) - The World Scout Emblem is the emblem of the World Organization of the Scout Movement and is worn by Scouts and Scouters around the world to indicate their membership. Each national Scout organization determines the manner is which the emblem is worn.  The rope is there to symbolize the family of the World Scout Movement and the knot symbolizes the strength of the unity of the World Scout Movement.

BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA - The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) was inspired by and modeled on the Boy Scout Association, established by Baden-Powell in Britain in 1908. In the early 1900s, several youth organizations were active, and many became part of the BSA.

NORTHERN CHEYENNE TRIBAL SYMBOL (MORNING STAR) -  The white symbol is the morning star.  However, Grinnell in Volume 1 of his 1923 Cheyenne Indians says the morning star can also be symbolized by a green disc.

AFGHANISTAN WAR VETERAN - The War in Afghanistan began in 2001 after the September 11 attacks.  United States and NATO coalition forces attacked Taliban and Al Qaeda forces.  As of 2014, United States personnel are withdrawing from the country, ending over a decade of fighting.

CHRISTIAN CHURCH DISCIPLES OF CHRIST -  The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a mainline Protestant Christian denomination in the United States in the Reformed tradition.  It is often referred to as The Christian Church, The Disciples of Christ, or as The Disciples. The Christian Church was a charter participant in the formation of the World Council of Churches(WCC) and of the Federal Council of Churches (now the National Council of Churches), and it continues to be engaged in ecumenical conversations.

CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH -  The Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA or CRC) is an Evangelical Protestant Christian denomination in the United States and Canada. Having roots in the Dutch Reformed churches of the Netherlands, the Christian Reformed Church was founded by Gijsbert Haan and Dutch immigrants who left the Reformed Church in America in 1857 and is theologically Calvinist.
